BA-FD2CI's leaf panel contains 1 ½" thick high-temperature insulation material reinforced by a 22-gauge steel liner for trouble-free, practical access to your fire-rated ceilings.

2-Hour Fire-Rating: BA-FD2CI has 1-½" thick high-temperature insulation with 22–gauge steel lining, factory inspected by Warnock Hersey.     

Upward Swinging Door: BA-FD2CI leaf panel is attached by a durable continuous piano hinge for a space-saving upward swinging panel door.    

Self-Closing, Self-Latching: BA-FD2CI is NFPA compliant, with a dual-purpose gravity-assisted door panel closer that also locks it into place at a 90-degree angle. 

Galvanized Steel Construction: BA- FD2CI is made entirely of durable galvanized steel, with a zinc coating for greater corrosion resistance and less maintenance required.     

BA-FD2CI offers you maximum convenience with an automatic, gravity-assisted self-closing door and latch, making it NFPA 80 compliant. This unit allows two-way access with a flush-mounted latch and an internal release mechanism on all standard models.  

Standard models are equipped with flush 1/8" Allen key with alternatives such as a;   

• Knurled (turn) knob   
• Mortise lock and cylinder   
• Non-locking handle
