The BA-KATR-LL access door is one of its kind with its lead lining feature. This access door model is best for medical facilities to help shield against radiation. The BA-KATR-LL can be customized with various thicknesses of lead. 

This door can be installed in a suspended drywall ceiling. The door is an 18 gauge steel and the frame is a 16 gauge steel as well. Doors shall be recessed 1 ½” to accommodate double thickness of wall board. It comes with an exposed, continuous piano hinge. You can choose locks that are flush between the and screwdriver operated with a 1 ½” stainless steel cam and lock studs, or a key operated cylinder with an automatic dust shutter. It’s furnished with plastic grommet studs only to protect the hole made in the wall board.This specialty access door is painted with a prime coat of rust inhibitive electrostatic powder finish in white.
