Cover:
- Double-skin construction ("in-box type design") with 1" Polyiso
(R-6) insulation
- Continuous EPDM foam weather/draft seal gasket for a tight fit
- Support a live load of 40 lbs./square feet.
- 14-gauge galvanized steel
- 20-gauge galvanized steel inside liner.
- 1/8" thick aluminum
Curb:
- 14-gauge galvanized steel
- 1" thick Polyiso (R-6) insulation
- Fiberglass liner at curb exterior.
- The curb is 12" high, with a 3.375" wide bottom flange and pre-drilled mounting holes.
Hinge:
- Heavy-duty galvanized steel pintle hinges with 3/8" SS pin
Opening:
- Gas spring operators allow the cover to easily open and close. The Stainless Steel Inside pull handle allows easy control when closing the lid.
Door Latch:
- Self-latching, zinc plated outside T handle
- Stainless steel inside lock
- Inside and outside padlock provisions
- Heavy duty detention lock with paracentric key
Finish:
- Material mixes with an iron phosphate wash, a rust-inhibiting primer, and a baked-on polyester enamel paint.
