Durable, Rugged Construction: BA-RD-2-EE comprises mill-finished aluminum, leaving it corrosion and rust-resistant and able to withstand outdoor exposure, rain, sleet, and snow with little upkeep required.
Well Insulated: BA-RD-2-EE's 22-gauge steel cover is bonded to 1" ridged PIR insulation, with a PIR-insulated, mill-finished aluminum curb providing enhanced thermal insulation and minimized heat transfer with sound-dampening capabilities.
Increased Load Capacity: With a load capacity of 70 pounds per square foot, access is ensured in harsher conditions while contributing to the structural integrity of your rooftops.
Easy Opening, One-Handed Operation: BA-RD-2-EE features interior and exterior handles with lift assistance provided by sturdy and reliable heavy-duty Torsion Coil Springs for guaranteed one-handed operation.
90-Degree Opening: Tough and rugged steel pintle hinges facilitate an easy and consistent opening of up to 90 degrees for more clearance room to comfortably transport tools and equipment. Hold-open arms keep BA-RD-2-EE's cover locked in place.
Weatherproofed Construction: BA-RD-2-EE is complete with counterflashing, extruded EDPM rubber gaskets adhered to its cover, and a 3.5" flange provides an airtight seal, ensuring no liquids, dust, or debris permeate your spaces.
