BA-FD2WI has an innovative design with a continuous piano hinge that allows an easy, space-saving inward swinging panel door that opens to 90 degrees.
BA-FD2WI offers you maximum convenience with an automatic, gravity-assisted self-closing door and latch, making it NFPA 80 compliant. This unit allows two-way access with a flush-mounted latch and an internal release mechanism on all standard models.
BA- FD2WI suits areas requiring high fire protection, such as hospitals, condominiums, schools, offices, and hotels.

2-Hour Fire-Rating: BA-FD2WI has 1-½" high-temperature insulation with 22–gauge steel lining factory inspected by Warnock Hersey.
Inward Swinging Door: BA-FD2WI leaf panel is attached by a durable continuous piano hinge for a space-saving inward swinging panel door.
Self-Closing, Self-Latching: BA-FD2WI is NFPA compliant, with a gravity-assisted, self-closing, and self-latching mechanism for reliable opens and consistent closes.
Concealed Panel Closing Mechanism: This model's dual-purpose concealed panel door closer also allows a fixed opening to 90 degrees.
BA-FD2WI is made entirely of durable galvanized steel, with a zinc coating, for greater corrosion resistance and less maintenance required.
Standard models are equipped with flush 1/8" Allen key with alternatives such as a:
- Knurled (turn) knob
- 1 1/8" Mortise lock and cylinder
- Non-Locking Handle
