BA-D-90 by Best Access Doors offers more space than standard ladder access hatches, making the transportation of tools, equipment and materials to and from the jobsite much easier. Operators will enjoy lift-assisted opening, with powerful compression springs for easy openings and one-handed operation. Weatherproofed Construction: BA-D-90 has EPDM rubber gaskets permanently adhered to its cover, providing a tight seal while leaving the elements out of your spaces. BA-D-90's construction leaves it highly resistant to corrosion from elemental exposure.
Structural Reinforcement: BA-D-90 provides live-load support of up to 40 pounds per square foot of load-bearing support to your rooftops.
Optimized Energy Efficiency: BA-D-90 has 1" thick fiberboard insulation within its curb, reinforced by 1" thick fiberglass within its cover for enhanced thermal resistance and excellent insulation.

- Cover: Brake-formed hollow-metal design with 1" concealed fiberglass insulation, 3" beaded, overlapping flange, fully welded at the corners, internally reinforced for 40 psf live load
- Curb: 12" in height with integral cap-flashing, 1" fiberboard insulation, fully welded at corners, 3-½" mounting flange with 7/16" holes
- Gasket: Extruded EPDM rubber gasket permanently adhered to cover
- Hinges: Heavy-duty pintle hinges with 3/8" Type 316 hinge pins
- Latch: Slam latch with exterior and interior turn handles and padlock hasps
- Lift-Assistance: Compression spring operators enclosed in telescopic tubes. Automatic hold-open arm with grip handle release
- Finish: Type 304 stainless steel with mill finish and electrochemical passivation of welds
- Hardware: Aluminum – Engineered composite compression spring tubes with steel compression springs packed in grease; Type 316 Stainless steel hinges; all other hardware zinc-plated
