Automated Ventilation: BA-BSVLB-D features a positive releasing latch, activated by a rigorously tested UL-listed fusible link, which melts at temperatures over 165°F. Once the fuse melts, you can count on BA-BSVLB-D's covers to release, expelling flames, fumes, and toxic gases.

Weatherproofed Construction: BA-BSVLB-D has EPDM rubber gaskets permanently adhered to its cover, providing a tight seal while leaving the elements out of your spaces. BA-BSVLB-D has 1" thick PIR insulation within its cover for enhanced thermal resistance (R-6) and reduced energy consumption.    

Note: 2" Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation (R-12) is available as an alternative; please contact our staff to request.    

Double-Leaf Design for More Venting Area: BA-BSVLB-D boasts an extra leaf for an expanded area and maximum, crucial ventilation in a fire.   

Glazed Leaf Panel for Natural Lighting: BA-BSVLB-D boasts multiwall white polycarbonate for the added benefit of warming up your spaces with natural light.  

EZ Tab for Easy Mounting: BA-BSVLB-D is a single-wall curb hatch with a mounting flange with EZ tabs that make installations quicker and hassle-free.

BA-BSVLB-D is either manually or electronically opened for regular venting. This model opens for manual venting with zinc-plated rotary latches, standard on all models. For electronically opening venting, you will have the options of:

• 110VAC/240VAC system  
• Linear Actuator system (note: this option voids BA-BSVLB-D's UL listing)
