The BA-ASV Smoke Vent Aluminum provides the proper ventilation to your building in the event of a fire. The solid aluminum construction used to manufacture this hatch is ideal for its high corrosion resistance while being lightweight.

First, the double-skin construction of the cover makes the BA-SRH perfect for your roof hatch. The 1/8" thick aluminum cover with a 20 gauge aluminum inside liner combined with a 1/8" aluminum curb allows this access door to support a live load of 40lbs./sq. Ft.

Moreover, you won't have to sacrifice energy efficiency in your building as the cover and curb feature 1" Polyiso (R-6) insulation ensures you get an excellent thermal barrier between the inside and outside with the BA-ASV.

Keeping out wind, rain, and snow is another crucial feature of the BA-ASV. The continuous EPDM foam gasket on the cover guarantees a secure seal between the cover and curb to protect your building from the weather and drafts.

Lastly, you'll easily open the BA-ASV, as it includes gas spring operators. You'll also be able to operate it from the inside and outside since it includes a latch release on both sides. In the event of a fire, you can rely on its UL Listed Fusible or McCabe Resettable Link (depending on your choice) to automatically open the smoke vent and prevent smoke and gasses from accumulating inside your building.
